Well, I made it all the way to the wilds of West Virginia and returned home safely.

Pictured above: the 44 foot wall at the Della Brown Taylor Gallery. From left to right — Snowbird, Red Crow, Black Apple, Homesick, Bird Circus, October Trio, and Crow Bar.

I have over 500 photographs to sort through, so while this entry is short, rest assured others will be longer and photo-filled!

Again, many thanks to Professor Brent Thomas and the rest of the WVSU crew for all their help with the show. :)

So how did it go? Was it a lucrative venture?

Well, it’s hard to say yet. I didn’t sell out the night of the reception or anything, but hopefully I’ll at least manage to garner a few bucks over the course of the month long showing.

Another plus: I didn’t die, nor did I kill anyone. :D

How were the Halloween parties? I’m sure I missed all of them this year, since I was on the road. :(

We had fun at Rene’s party - Mark’s costume was quite surreal this year. He wore a poncho made out of plastic dolls - large and small. I made a gelatin brain and the zombie cake. We’ll probably go out to the B&B in full costume tonight, and see if we can get another glass of the Dead Guy ale.

I keep reminding myself, murder is wrong… but sometimes it’s so tempting.
