Well, I made it all the way to the wilds of West Virginia and returned home safely.

Pictured above: the 44 foot wall at the Della Brown Taylor Gallery. From left to right — Snowbird, Red Crow, Black Apple, Homesick, Bird Circus, October Trio, and Crow Bar.

I have over 500 photographs to sort through, so while this entry is short, rest assured others will be longer and photo-filled!

Again, many thanks to Professor Brent Thomas and the rest of the WVSU crew for all their help with the show. :)

Here’s a shot from Friday night. Just thought it was an interesting long exposure.

Okay, you’re right. I’m procrastinating. Bah!

Today was my deadline for getting the show posters off to the printer’s. What you see is a rough approximation of the official design. As is to be expected, I’m swamped with a myriad of other little evils to slog through before the Ultimate Evil of the opening reception. However, I think this small bit of procrastination is just fine.

Time to pull out the Big Guns…

Deadlines always seem to bring out my stranger side [which is sometimes also my better side, but not always]. After spending a good portion of the day yesterday getting absolutely filthy and exhausted from prepping masonite panels for painting, I decided I needed to see people die. It was that, or a shooting spree in suburbia. This is not unusual for me. Of course, having a deadline to meet, I couldn’t spare the time that incarceration would involve, so I opted for the next best thing — AHHHNOLD!
