Sometimes the absurd manifestations of my procrastinating tendencies astound even me.
I was up at an ungodly pre-dawn hour Sunday morning, unable to fall back into not-so-blissful slumber. After a lengthy morning spent washing down, gessoing, and spackling masonite panels, I decided to throw on a DVD I’d recently purchased whilst out on the town with The Goddess of Needle and Thread — Melis.
Now, I’d bought several B-movie DVDs, mostly because they were a steal, and because they offer a certain charm that is distinctly lacking in modern movies. Namely, they’re outrageously cheesy [which is not to say that modern movies aren't, just that older movies pull it off with decidedly more panache].
Here’s a still frame to entice you:

So instead of painting all over my recently prepped panels, I escaped. Sort of.
Oddly enough, the film gave me an idea… Muahaha.
Watch it here for yourself, and see if it gives YOU any ideas.
