During my recent trip to New York, I managed to catch the Albright-Knox’s exhibit on Francis Bacon [which was taken down just a few days after my departure].
Once in the world’s first prime,

Mark your calendars folks! It’s that time of year again — time for the Perseid Meteor shower! The shower should peak around Sunday, August 12th. The moon is new on the twelfth, which means excellent viewing this year.

I plan to get my cosmic fix by toting a cooler full of goodies out into the wilderness while I watch [and perhaps photograph] the delicious Perseid Earthgrazers.
