Hell I like it unfinished. Always was a sucker for graphite.
One question, well two really, what kinda paper is it (finish that is) and what kinda pencil?
The only reason I ask is cause when I see pieces like this I get an itch to start sketching. Of course the main problem is that the itch is usually about as far as I go. I’ve gotten the supplies before (and lost them somewhere
) but then I kinda blank out looking at the paper. Inspiration is the parts which I find hardest, then it’s just a matter of trying to put my competence and perfectionism on hold so I can actually draw something before I give up.

Paper: 140lb Cold Press of some sort [that's what gives the texture]. Can’t tell you the brand for sure, since the sketch is on a scrap piece which doesn’t have the watermark on it. Probably Fabriano or Arches, if you really pushed me into guessing.
Pencil: Standard cheap mechanical thing; #2 disposable Bic [or a 2B if you're looking for a graphite hardness rating].
Hope that helps.

An automatic pencil??? WOW!
See now this is why I dropped art. Our art teacher would have thrown a blue fit if he’d seen automatic pencils! Of course all this meant was that I spent more time sharpening them
I think I never got on with that guy cause he couldn’t figure out the meaning of “meh”.
